Compassion becomes visible through service. Guided by malasakit—care expressed through action—and bayanihan—a spirit of communal cooperation—the Council seeks practical ways to support families, neighbors, and the wider Gulf Coast.

How Service Can Take Shape

Depending on current needs, volunteers, funding, and partnerships, Council service may include:

  • Charitable giving and community drives
  • Relief or family-support efforts
  • Volunteer service days
  • Food, supply, or educational collections
  • Support for community celebrations and youth activities
  • Collaboration with local governments, schools, churches, nonprofits, and cultural organizations

Specific campaigns and collection requirements will be posted only after they are approved.

Serving with Dignity

Good service begins by listening. The Council seeks to respond to real needs, protect privacy, avoid unnecessary duplication, and work alongside organizations already serving effectively.

The goal is not simply to complete a project. It is to build trust and relationships that last beyond a single event.

Ways to Contribute

Volunteers may be able to help through event preparation, transportation, setup and cleanup, food coordination, professional skills, outreach, photography, youth support, or committee service.

Learn about volunteering or contact the Council to describe the time, skills, or resources you would like to offer.

Businesses and organizations interested in a joint project can explore partnership opportunities.
