The Filipino-American Council of the Mississippi Gulf Coast welcomes practical, mission-aligned partnerships that strengthen culture, education, youth opportunity, service, and community connection across Hancock, Harrison, and Jackson Counties.

  • Churches and faith communities
  • Local governments and civic organizations
  • Nonprofits and service providers
  • Businesses and professional associations
  • Military-connected organizations
  • Cultural organizations and informal Filipino groups

Ways to Collaborate

A partnership might include:

  • Co-hosting a cultural program or public workshop
  • Supporting a community celebration
  • Creating educational opportunities for students
  • Coordinating a service project
  • Providing a venue, equipment, printing, food, or professional expertise
  • Sponsoring a program, scholarship, or event
  • Sharing trusted community resources
  • Cross-promoting public events and opportunities

What a Good Partnership Looks Like

We value relationships with a clear purpose, realistic expectations, respectful communication, and a benefit to the wider community. The Council does not promise endorsement, exclusivity, funding, or use of its name or logo until an arrangement has received the appropriate approval.

An introductory conversation creates no obligation. It is simply a chance to understand one another’s goals and decide whether there is useful work to do together.

For Filipino Groups

Filipino groups may collaborate with the Council while keeping their own name, traditions, leadership, and autonomy. The goal is stronger connection—not absorption.

Begin the Conversation

Email info@msgcfilam.com with:

  • Your organization or group name
  • A short description of the idea or need
  • The people or community it would serve
  • Any important dates or deadlines
  • The best way to contact you

We will route the inquiry to the appropriate Council leader and respond as capacity allows.

Partnership possibilities

Good partnerships make culture, service, and civic connection easier to discover.

The Council can collaborate with schools, churches, nonprofits, businesses, civic partners, and Filipino groups while keeping every relationship mission-aligned and practical.
