The Filipino-American Council of the Mississippi Gulf Coast respects the privacy of members, donors, volunteers, partners, and website visitors.

The Council may receive information when you:
- Apply for or renew membership through Zeffy
- Make a donation through Zeffy
- Register for a ticketed or RSVP event through Zeffy
- Email or otherwise contact the Council
- Volunteer, submit a story or photograph, or participate in a Council activity
Depending on the interaction, information may include your name, contact details, membership selection, payment or transaction status, communication preferences, message content, or other details you choose to provide.
How Information Is Used

- Administer membership and organizational records

Membership Privacy

Zeffy and Other Services
Zeffy is the Council’s system of record for membership and donation transactions and may also be used for event registration. Information submitted to Zeffy is governed by Zeffy’s own terms, privacy policy, and security practices.
The website host and essential WordPress services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser details, server logs, or administrative-session cookies for security and operation. The Council does not currently use advertising cookies or advertising pixels on this website.

Communications
The Council may communicate through email, postal mail upon request, website postings, social media, and text messaging where a person has opted in. You may use the unsubscribe method provided in a message or contact the Council to update communication preferences.
Photographs and Community Stories
The Council seeks appropriate permission before intentionally publishing submitted personal stories or identifiable photographs. Public events may be photographed; event notices should explain photography expectations when appropriate. Contact the Council if you have a concern about a published image.
