Committees give members a practical way to turn ideas into dependable work. Under the Council’s bylaws, committees and task forces may be established by the Board to support mission-aligned priorities.

Current Status
No standing committee roster or open committee application has been approved for publication at this time. Opportunities will be announced as the Board establishes committees and identifies chairs, responsibilities, and participation needs.
Community Members may serve on committees at the discretion of the committee chair. Supporting Members may serve on committees and task forces and have additional governance rights described on the Membership page.
What Good Committee Service Requires
Committee work is a promise to other people. Helpful members communicate clearly, attend agreed meetings, complete assigned tasks, respect confidential information, and keep the Council’s mission ahead of personal preference.
